CU groups celebrate Allies Week
Allies across campus are looking to spread the love (and awareness) during Valentine’s week. Allies Week is organized by CU groups including the GLBTQ Resource Center, Project4Unity and the Women’s Resource Center to educate and celebrate allies of multiple identities and communities.
RISE to hold annual spring symposium
The Southwest is an increasingly diverse region facing increasingly changing and controversial immigration laws. The University of Colorado graduate student group Racial Initiatives for Students and Educators (RISE) hopes to tackle these issues in Friday’s spring symposium.
Buffs beat Ducks 72-71
Saturday’s sold-out game went down to the wire as the University of Colorado men’s basketball team edged the Oregon Ducks 72-71.
With just seconds remaining on the clock, senior guard Nate Tomlinson raced across the court, drawing a foul in the final second. At the line, Tomlinson, who was 4-of-7 on the night, made his first free throw to seal the win for the Buffs.
